There are several ways to open an R project:
Using the Open Project command
To open an R project using the Open Project command, follow these steps:
- Open RStudio.
- Click on the File menu and select Open Project.
- In the Open Project dialog box, browse to the directory that contains your R project file.
- Select the R project file and click on the Open button.
- Selecting a project from the list of most recently opened projects
To open an R project from the list of most recently opened projects, follow these steps:
- Open RStudio.
- Click on the File menu and select Recent Projects.
- Select the R project that you want to open and click on the Open button.
- Double-clicking on the project file within the system shell
To open an R project by double-clicking on the project file within the system shell, follow these steps:
- Locate the R project file in the system shell.
- Double-click on the R project file.
RStudio will open the R project and load all of the files that are associated with the project.
